Skewed Views Of Science

28 01 2009

You mean “scientific theory” doesn’t mean wild-ass uninformed guess?  Damn, I bet this will annoy my friends at Sunday school.

I’m digging this series of videos.  They’re not flashy but they make their points in well reasoned and largely noninsulting ways.  I too also like to make my point in these sorts of debates but generally I’m not so good at the noninsulting part.

The video is very good but the flat earthers will still believe that Adam and Eve played with dinosaurs.

@Paen: Quite likely. With all the evidence freely available at any library I seriously doubt a little video like this will persuade anyone clinging to their mythology, that have far too much invested to give in to rational arguments so easily.

True but we got to keep up the fight to get the truth out for the sake of kids who are having their educations sabatoged by this stupidity.

Funny thing is I just read that even in Britain only half of the population believe in Evolution. I’m surprised they’re statistically on par with us ignorant Americans.

SuperJ: I just read that, too, on another blog. I’m surprised that so many Brits are as stupid as so many Americans are. That’s pretty pitiful.
