Comedians Frustrated, Palin Too Stupid To Parody

31 10 2008

Honestly, the context of this quote from Sarah Palin is so bizarre it is barely believable so I provided a reference to the source article from the Associated Press

Palin spoke after touring Xunlight Corp., one of a handful of solar technology startup companies in Toledo, a struggling industrial city in this swing state. The city’s leaders are hoping that the solar companies will create jobs to replace some of those lost by downsizing in the auto industry.

But Palin made only a passing reference to solar power in her speech and instead renewed her call for more drilling in U.S. coastal waters. She repeated her signature anthem, “drill, baby, drill,” which seemed to fall a bit flat on the audience at the plant even as it’s become a popular chant at her rallies.

So once again the writers at SNL get a free weekend off as Sarah “The Comedian’s Gift From God” Palin extemporaneously performs their skits for them on the campaign trail.  And this continues to be hilarious until I remember that this walking talking douche nozzle is running for VP with a 72 year old cancer patient!

Please please PLEASE vote Obama.

Hilarious article and yes Palin is a fool and misunderstands most issues including renewable energy and solar power. The downside is Obama’s draconian tax and cap plan which of course by his own admission raise electricity rates through the roof in an effort to curb usage rather then tax credit based incentives. Sadly the two party system is designed and run to literally take polarizing opposite sides with the bankers winning every time..not by coincendence either.

That said, keep up the nice blog and look forward as always to perusing your musings…especially like ones like this that at least touch base on the politics of sustainable energy as well as solar power.
