McCain And Palin Always Completely Honest *

* If you believe that headline I have a bridge in Alaska I’d like to sell you.

What a delight to finally see the news report on the outright lies and smears being tossed around by the McCain campaign like so many mullets at a Journey concert.  It’s about f’ing time.

CNN brings the heat almost as well as The Daily Show, just without the funny.  I am still waiting for the “Fair and Balanced” network to do a similarly candid assessment of their candidate John McCain.  Let me check again…nope, still waiting.

And idiot-boy McCain still says he stands by all the ads saying they are “factual”. What the hell does that even mean?
The base will believe the lies, but hopefully, the folks more closely aligned near the center will see McCain/Palin for the scum they really are.

I think we can safely assume that they care more about solidifying the far right to their “cause” than they do about swing votes or even seeing McCain win at all, considering the ruinous state of disorder and corruption the Bushies and their corporate accomplices have left for the next president.

I just can’t get over the fact that while railing against pork, earmarks and special interest influence McCain has filled his campaign staff with the very individuals whose influence he claims to be determined to expose and eliminate!!! Obama summed it up best yesterday when he stated:

“Yesterday, John McCain actually said that if he’s president that he’ll take on, and I quote, ‘the old boys network in Washington.’
Now I’m not making this up. This is somebody who’s been in Congress for twenty-six years, who put seven of the most powerful Washington lobbyists in charge of his campaign.
And now he tells us that he’s the one who’s gonna’ to take on the old boys network. The old boys network? In the McCain campaign that’s called a staff meeting. Come, on!”

Now, I lack confidence in our two party system, and I will not offer up words of acclaim or support for either party, especially the Republicans. But I am voting for Obama because there simply is no other choice. We need to dismantle the current two party system, remove the consolidated power and money influences as best we can, and get some people in public office that serve the PEOPLE rather than greedy corporate interests.

I couldn’t agree more my friend.
